Enabling & Disabling Login with SSO for users

Overview:

If your organisation has SSO login turned on and you wish for users i.e. employees to only be able to login with SSO, this guide will show you to how to enable this. This guide will also show you how to disable SSO login for specific users.

Via Employee Profile > Access Level

  • If you wish to update the login settings of an employee with self-service turned on, you will be able to do so via the Access Level tab.



To enable SSO Login

  • Click on the pencil icon on the right side
  • Toggle to Yes for the row Require SSO Sign In 
  • Click Save



  • When the toggle for Require SSO Sign In is set to Yes
    • The user will not be able to login via their email and password. They will see the below error message at their login page. 
    • The user will not receive a reset password email even if they click Reset Password and enter a valid email address.



To disable SSO Login

  • Click on the pencil icon on the right side
  • Toggle to No for the row Require SSO Sign In 
  • Click Save


  • Note that every employee can have a different configuration that can be set via their respective profiles*
    * This is not possible if your organisation has enforced SSO login only for all employees. If there is a need to disable SSO login for certain users after enforcement, kindly reach out to Omni support.
