FAQ: Time Off Balance / Report for 2026

1. Why can’t I see an employee’s 2026 time off balance yet?

The Time Off / Days Available view only displays the currently active time-off period. If your time-off policy renews on 1 January, the system will only show the period from 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025 at this time.


2. If an employee applies for leave for next year (2026), which balance will be deducted?

The system will deduct the employee’s 2026 leave balance, even if the leave request is submitted in 2025.


3. If employee resign on March 2026, how can I review their leave balance up to their last working day? 

Admins can download the time-off balance or transaction report as of March 2026 to review the employee’s balance up to their last working day.


4. Many managers have not approved time off, affecting employees 2025 leave balances—what can I do?

  1. Approve on behalf of manager; OR
  2. Set new approval rules, include Admin as approver (this is recommended for your new year practice, you may review to see if it's suitable for your organization)
