Overview:
Unexpected events happen, and for these, there may be a need for you to make changes to your employees' time offs. In this article, we will show how admins can manage employees' time offs, i.e. cancel, edit, apply .
Please note that this is subject to the configurations set in the admin access in your account.
Cancelling Employee Time Offs:
- Go to the employee's Profile > Time Off tab
- Select the time off you want to cancel in the Time off events section. In the pop-up that will appear, click Cancel time off at the lower left side.
- The time off will disappear from the employee's calendar, and the employee's manager will be notified of the cancelled time off via email.
Editing/Updating Employee Time Offs:
- Go to the employee's Profile > Time Off tab
- Select the time off you want to edit in the Time off events section. In the pop-up, you can edit the duration(also if the first and last day are full/half days), add attachments, and put remarks.
- Once done, click Update at the lower right side of the pop-up. The employee's manager will be notified that there has been a change via email.
Applying Time Offs for your Employees:
- Go to the employee's profile > Time Off tab
- You can do this in 2 ways, the Request time off button, or through the Time off events calendar.
- If you'll apply through the Request time off button, click the button, then a pop-up will appear. Input the details and click Submit
- If you'll apply through the Request time off button, click the button, then a pop-up will appear. Input the details and click Submit
- If you'll apply through the Time off events calendar, click the desired date/s, then a pop-up will appear. Input the details and click Submit.
- Once done, the employee's manager will be notified of the time off request via email.
