Taking tasks are simple and straightforward in Omni. Let's see how you can do just that in Omni.
Completing Tasks:
- When you are assigned tasks, you will be notified via email. Click View task to be directed to the Task page in Omni.
- You can also go to your tasks in Omni through the 3 ways below
- Go to your Homepage > To-Dos widget > Assigned Tasks
- Go to your Homepage > To-Dos widget > Assigned Tasks
- Go to the left-side panel > To-Dos > Tasks
- Go to your Profile > Tasks
- Select the task you want to complete. A side pop-up will appear with the topline details of the task.
- If the task is to Review and Sign/Acknowledge documents, click Take Task, and review the document, and put your signature or click acknowledge.
- The document will then show up in your Company Documents under the Documents Tab immediately if no countersign is needed. If a countersign is needed, the countersigner has to sign first.
- If the task is any other task type (onboarding/offboarding/custom) task, you may do any of the following
- If the task is an Information Request/Document Upload task, click Take Task, and provide the information/documents asked from you.
- If the task is an Information Request/Document Upload task, click Take Task, and provide the information/documents asked from you.
- The information you provide will update the field automatically in your HR Profile tab.
- The document you provide will appear in your Personal Documents section in your Documents tab.
- If the task is a General task, make sure you have done the task in the Task Details, and click "I have completed this task".
- For all tasks completed successfully, they will appear in your completed tasks list. To view, go to Tasks > tick Yes to the question "Include completed tasks"
