Overview:
We’ve refined our OKR approval process to ensure clarity, consistency, and better governance. These changes provide a structured way to manage OKR while balancing flexibility for teams and accountability for managers.
Managers Notification
- Managers with direct reports will be notified via email on how many OKR(s) are pending approval
- Managers are also able to view if they have OKR to review by the red dot shown on the left side panel, and when clicked, will be able to see the red dot on which view panel i.e. My Direct Reports
Single Approval or Reject
- Managers are able to approve or reject individual objectives. This results in the objective, and the associated KR to be approved or rejected.
- When an objective is rejected, there will be a pop-up requesting for a reject remark to be left, which will be sent to the objective owner.
Bulk Approval
- Managers are also able to approve OKR in bulk by clicking on Approve All. This action will result in all objectives and its associated key results to be approved simultaneously.
Auto Approval and Direct Managers Actions
- There are two group of users that OKR setting will not be sent for approval, and they are:
1) Objective Owners with No Direct Manager
2) Direct Managers
When this group of users set objectives, they will be able to Save Objective or Update as Approved, without needing approval.
