Full legal name: Can this be displayed for payroll?

We understand that it is a common practice and requirement for full legal name to be displayed for payroll related reporting and processes. This guide aims to share where will full legal name be currently displayed.

Where can we display full legal name?

Our payroll system is only able to display full legal name on payslips at this time in the format of First Name + Last Name. This requires a written request to our Omni HR team to be enabled.

We are working on future enhancement to allow full legal name to be displayed within the system dashboard and across payroll reports generated.

How will the name be displayed in the payroll system?

By default, the name order on the system is displayed as First Name + Last Name, based on what is saved in the employee’s profile in Omni HR.

We recommend updating the First Name field in Omni HR to match the employee’s identification documents (e.g., NRIC/FIN), rather than using their English name.

Can we change the order of how the full legal name is displayed i.e. Last Name + First Name?

At this time, this is not possible yet as the default setting is to follow First Name + Last Name.
