Answering Performance Reviews

Overview:

There comes that time of the year again, when you have to answer performance evaluations. Don't fret! Omni makes it easy for you to access, answer, and review your performance evaluations. 

 

360 Reviews in Omni:

  • Before we start with answering the reviews, you must know first the 4 kinds of individual reviews you may be required to take in Omni HR

    • Self-review – These are reviews where the reviewee gives feedback to himself/herself
    • Manager review – These are reviews where the manager gives feedback to the reviewee
    • Peer review – These are reviews where the reviewee’s peers give feedback to the reviewee. An important part is the peer selection, where the reviewee nominates peers he/she wants to review him/her.
    • Upward review – These are reviews given by a manager’s direct reports to the manager.

Navigating to your Performance Reviews:

  • There are 2 ways you can navigate to your performance reviews.
    • When the performance review is launched, you will be sent emails, indicating the tasks/reviews you must do. You can open even just one of the emails, then click Go to My Reviews. 


    • You can also just navigate directly to your Omni Account > To-Dos > Performance


  • The 2 tabs you will when you go to your Performance Review page are My Review and Team Review
    • My Review - The My Review tab shows all performance tasks/reviews in reference to you/your own account, under a performance cycle. You’ll also see the deadlines per individual review in the performance cycle below the performance cycle name.  The tasks/reviews you can take here are the Self Review and Peer Selection. 


    • Team Review - Team Review on the other hand shows all performance tasks/reviews in reference to other employees, under a performance cycle. You’ll also see the deadlines per individual review in the performance cycle below the performance cycle name. The tasks/reviews you can take here are the Manager, Peer, Upward reviews, and Peer Selection(for your direct reports).


Peer Selection:

  • There may be performance cycles where you are required to do Peer Selections, where you will select peers that will give you feedback on your performance.
    • Click Select Peers under My Review tab under a performance cycle.


    • Enter the name of the peer/s you want to nominate depending on the maximum number set by your admin. The peer must be an employee enrolled in your company’s Omni account. Click Confirm once you are good with the selection. Note that your manager can override your selection.


    • If you are a manager, you can override your direct report’s peer selection. Just go to Team Review > Peer selection of the direct report >click Select Peers/Edit.


    • In the pop-up, you can delete the peer selected, or you can add if the maximum peers hasn’t been reached. You can also click Lock selection so that no further edits can be made.


Answering Performance Reviews:

  • Click any review you would like to take in either My Review or Team Review. Answer the form accordingly and click Submit. Note that if you are answering the Self, Peer and Upward Reviews, you cannot edit your answers after submitting them.


  • If you are answering a Manager review, you will see your direct report’s answers at the right hand side, if they already submitted their answers. You may still edit your answers after submission, but after the Manager Review due date has passed, you may not edit anymore.
