Overview:

Reports is another tool you can utilize in Omni HR. With this tool, you can generate either preset reports or customized report. We'll look closely into the preset reports and how to generate them in Omni.

The Preset Reports:

To start, go to Reports > Preset. We have 2 types of preset reports in Omni HR — People reports and Time off reports. Let's look at the different reports you can generate under each.

  • People reports- These are reports that refer to the job and compensation information of the employees.
    • Job History - This report shows you the job changes in the employee's career journey.
    • Compensation History - This report shows the compensation changes in the employee's career journey.
    • Job, manager, and compensation snapshot - This report shows the job, manager and compensation info of employees at a specific point in time.

  • Time off reports- These are reports that refer to the time off records of your employees.
    • Time off balance - This report generates a detailed breakdown of the time off balances of the employees. You also have the option to take into account the pending time off requests, and as well as to specify the time off types.
    • Time off transactions - This report generates the time off requests of your employees. Same as time off balance, you can take into account the pending time off requests, and specify the time off types.

Generating the Reports:

To start generating the reports, click on the box of the preset report you want to generate. Then fill up the pop-up accordingly with the filters for the preset report chosen.

  • People reports
    • To generate the reports for Job History and Compensation History, choose the date range of the effective dates for the job/compensation changes you want to see. Don't forget to also select the employment status.
      • For example, if you want to see all job changes that happened in 2022 for active employees, click Job history and enter the 01/01/2022 - 31/12/2022 as the period, then select Active as the employment status.

  • To generate the report for Job, Manager, and Compensation Snapshot, enter the dates for which you want to see the snapshot of your employees, along with the employment status.
    • For example, for the active employees, if you want to see their snapshot last December 31, 2022, put 31/12/2022 - 31/12/2022 as the period, then select Active as the employment status.

  • Time off reports
    • To generate the reports for time off balance and time off transactions, enter the date range of the balances/requests you want to see, then select the time off type and the employment status. Be sure to also tick the box "Include Pending time off request" if you want to take into account the pending requests.
      • For example, if you want to see the time off requests (including the pending) of active employees for the month of January 2023, click Time off transactions and choose 01/01/2023 - 31/01/2023 as the period, then select Active as the employment status. Tick the box "Include Pending time off request before clicking Export.

For all the preset reports, they will automatically be downloaded once you click Export.
