Overview:
You can also generate time off reports to view your employees' time off info. You'll learn how to do just that in this article.
Reports Module:
- Go to Reports > Preset >choose either Time off Balance or Time off Transactions.
- Time off balance - This report shows the time off balances of employees as of a specific date.
- Time off transactions -This report shows the time off transactions of employees within a specific date range.
- For both types of report you can tick the box saying "Include time off request pending approval". This will take into account the pending approvals in the balance (if you're generating time off balance report) and the time off transactions (if you're generating time off transactions report).
- Time off balance - This report shows the time off balances of employees as of a specific date.
Best Practices:
- If you are thinking of deleting a time off type from some employees, best to generate a Time off Transactions report first to make sure that the employees you'll be deleting it from don't have time off histories. This is because when you delete a time off type from an employee, the system deletes the time off transactions along with it.
- Input the starting date of the period to be far back as possible.. This can be the earliest start date of your first employees. This is to make sure that you have checked all time off histories all time so that you don't accidentally delete any.
