Edit Profile Information with Approval

Overview:

Employees with edit access to their bank information can update their details directly in their profile, provided that they are granted the necessary permissions. Admins can designate certain sections to require approval for any updates made. Currently applicable only to the Basic and Bank Information sections.



Here's how an employee can edit the profile information for approval:

  • After saving the edits, the employee will see a Pending information update note. The edited field will continue to display the current profile information until the request is approved.




What if employee makes a second edit when pending approval?

  • Employees can make a second edit to their profile, but this will replace their previous edit request for the section entirely. Once approved, the profile information will be updated accordingly.



What if there are multiple employees making edit for the same information?

  • If multiple employees submit edit requests for the same profile section, the first approved request will update the information. Any later approvals will then override it.
