Rejecting Information Update Request

Overview: 

The approver has the option to reject an information update request if it is invalid and can provide a reason for rejection.


  • In the Rejected Requests section, both “Previous information” and “New information” will be displayed, with previous information reflecting the data at the time of rejection.



  • Click the Reject button and fill in the reject reason. Click Reject in the pop-up.



  • Under the Information Update Approvals dashboard, the status will show "Rejected".



  • The reject reason will be shown when you click in to view the rejected request.



  • When an update request is rejected, the employee will receive an email notification informing them of the rejection.
