Overview:
The approver has the option to reject an information update request if it is invalid and can provide a reason for rejection.
- In the Rejected Requests section, both “Previous information” and “New information” will be displayed, with previous information reflecting the data at the time of rejection.
- Click the Reject button and fill in the reject reason. Click Reject in the pop-up.
- Under the Information Update Approvals dashboard, the status will show "Rejected".
- The reject reason will be shown when you click in to view the rejected request.
- When an update request is rejected, the employee will receive an email notification informing them of the rejection.
