Overview:
The Import Timesheet feature makes it easy to manage attendance records in bulk. Instead of entering data manually for each employee, you can upload a prepared template, saving time and reducing errors. This is especially useful in situations such as:
- Recording attendance for large teams at once
- Migrating timesheet data from another system
- Updating attendance records after an offline event (e.g. training, company outing)

2. Download the template by clicking the Download button.

3. Fill in the template, making sure all required fields are completed accurately.
- Make sure to enter the Date and Time in the format shown in the template.
- The Project and Remarks fields can be left blank if they don’t apply to the employee.
- If you’re unsure whether the file is set up correctly, try uploading a single row first to test before proceeding with the full upload.

3. Upload the template by selecting Click Here to Upload. Once the file is loaded, click Import.

4. You will receive a validation email showing which records were successfully imported and which encountered errors.

5. If there are errors, correct them in the template and re-upload.

6. Once successfully imported, the timesheet will appear on the dashboard, and employees will also be able to view it.
What happens if a timesheet is locked?
Locked timesheets may affect any timesheet imports.
Admins can still attempt to import timesheet records for a locked timesheet period, but the system will not allow imported rows to override dates that are already locked.
If an imported record falls on a locked date:
- the import will fail for that record
- the locked timesheet will not be overwritten
- the system will return a validation error
Error message
- Fail! Timesheet is locked on the date of imported record
