Geotagging allows you to log employees’ locations when they record their attendance. Follow the steps below to enable this feature:
1. Prerequisites: Ensure that you have the admin permission
Ensure that you have the necessary admin permissions under Settings > Access Control to configure timesheet settings. Otherwise, you will not be able to see the setting to enable Geotagging.
2. Enable Geotagging at Work Schedule
(a) The Work Schedule is linked to the Attendance module. The Geotagging must be enabled at the Settings > Work Schedule.
(b) Once enabled, all employees assigned to that work schedule will be able to log their attendance with geotagging.
3. Important Note
Geotagging will only capture the location if employees grant location permission on their device. Please make sure that they have granted the permission.
