Employees can only see and access the modules or tabs in their profile if their assigned Access Control provides them with at least View permission.
This means visibility and accessibility of information in the employee profile is determined by the role-based access control settings.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Checking an Employee’s Access Control
You can review and configure access control in two areas:
Role’s Access to Employee Profiles
Configure which profile sections (e.g., Personal Info, Time Off, Compensation) each role can view or edit.
See: [Configuring the Access Control - Role's access to Employee profiles]
Role’s Access to System Functions
Configure which system-wide functions each role can access (e.g., Reports, Approvals, Admin settings).
See: [Configuring the Access Control - Role's access to System Functions]
Key Notes
At least View access must be granted for a role in order for employees with that role to see a module/tab.
If no access is granted, the module/tab will not be visible in the employee’s profile.
Tip: Review role assignments regularly to ensure employees have the right level of access without exposing unnecessary data.
