When you need to bulk create or delete field options, you can do this directly in the system using the import function.
⚠️ Before you begin:
Make sure the Field Name and Section are already created in the system.

Steps to Bulk Import Field Options
For example, if you need to create new field options under Positions (Field) and Job (Section), follow the steps below.
1. Prepare your list
- Gather the new position (or other field options) that you want to create.
2. Download / make a copy of the template LINK
3. Fill the template accordingly
Here some things to note while you fill the templates :
- Column A,B,C are required.
- The Field Name must already exist in the system before you import options for it.
- The same Field Name cannot have duplicate options (case insensitive).
- Column C ("Delete?")
- Enter No = If you want to add a new fields options
- Enter Yes = If you wish to delete the fields options. Record to be deleted must have EXISTING unique together field name & field option
Do not use N/A or 0, as they will be imported as actual values.
Use only Plain Text formatting for the Field Name & Field Option columns to avoid unexpected results.
4. Upload the Template
Go to your Omni URL and add
/new-import
(e.g.,omnihr.omnihr.co/new-import
).Click Import > select Update Field Options from the dropdown.
Upload the file by dragging and dropping or selecting it manually.
Click Import.
5. Review the Validation Email
After a few minutes, you will receive a validation email.
Open the attached file to check the results:
“Success!” in Column A = successfully uploaded.
An error message = failed upload (adjust the template and try again).
