Overview:
Previously, creating similar time off policies meant starting from scratch each time and manually copying every setting from an existing policy. This was time-consuming and prone to errors, especially when managing multiple policies for different job grades, departments, or locations.
You can now duplicate existing time off policies with just one click! This new feature creates an exact copy of any policy, saving you time when setting up similar policies for different teams or employee groups.
Creating a duplicate policy
- Navigate to an existing time off policy via Time Off > Settings
- From the selected policy, click the three dots and then Duplicate
- A new policy is instantly created with all the same settings, except that no users are assigned
- Only the policy name changes i.e. Job Grade 1 (copy 1) — everything else stays identical
Note: You cannot duplicate an Archived policy - You will still be able to edit the duplicated policy settings if there are minor changes needed from the original settings.
