Overview:
Carryover is configured within the Time Off policy and is automatically managed by the system. However, there may be cases where certain employees require a special carryover exception. In such instances, the Adjustment function in Omni HR provides a flexible solution for applying manual carryover adjustments.
Individual Adjustment of Time off:
- To start, go to the Employee's Profile > Timeoff > Select Timeoff Type to be Adjusted >Adjust Balance
- Fill-in the details of the time off to be adjusted in the pop-up that appears accordingly.
- On the Effective Date, input 31/12/2024 (last day of previous fiscal year) so that the adjusted balance will be calculated as part of the carryover balance. Note that if the adjustment will make that total available balance more than the carryover limit, the exceeding balance will not be carried. Therefore, if the special carryover has to be more than the policy set, the Effective Date has to be 01/01/2025 (first day of the presest fiscal year).
- Adjustment can either be Add or Subtract.
- Remarks is optional.
- Click Confirm.
If multiple adjustments is required, the system can also support Bulk Adjustment of Time off.
