Overview:
If you are looking to rehire an employee, you will be able to do this via our new quick action feature: Rehire
This function will allow you to quickly take the necessary steps to update the employee's profile in one go, rather than needing to navigate to different sections separately.
What does this Rehire Quick action do?
- Admins will be able to record the new rehire date, relevant job and salary information, then the following changes will happen:
- Employment Section
- Start date will be updated with the rehire date
- Previous last day of work will be removed
- Job Section
- Add a new rehire job event, where the effective date will follow the rehire date
- Compensation Section
- Add new compensation events with the information that was filled up during the quick action pop-up modal
- Payroll Section
- Add new base salary, ad hoc and recurring payment records with the information that was filled up during the quick action pop-up modal
- Employment Section
Where do I find this quick action to rehire an employee?
- From the relevant employee's profile:
- Click on Job Change > Rehire
- Click on Job Change > Rehire
- The below pop-up modal will show up:
No payroll
With payroll
How can I record rehire events for existing or past employees?
- If you require to add a rehire event for an existing or past employee, you can now do it with the introduction of the 'Rehire' job event.
- You will be able to record a rehire event in the following sections:
1) Employee Profile > Job Section
2) Task > Information / Document Request
3) Payroll — Base Salary, Recurring Items
We will be looking to add this job event in other sections soon!
