If you no longer want employees to use a project when clocking in, you can set it as Inactive instead of deleting it. This preserves the project’s records while preventing further use.

Options for Managing Projects in Attendance
1. Set Project as Inactive (Recommended)
A project can be marked as Inactive, which means users will not be able to select the project when clocking in.
The project will remain in the system for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
2. Delete Project
A project can be permanently deleted only if there are no attendance records linked to it.
If there are existing records associated with the project, the Delete button will be greyed out.
Steps to Set a Project as Inactive
Go to Attendance Settings.
Select the Projects tab.
Locate the project you want to deactivate.
Click on the three dots (⋮) menu next to the project.
Select Set as Inactive.
The project will now be marked as Inactive and will no longer be available for selection when employees clock in.
✅ Tip: Setting a project as inactive is recommended to preserve historical data while ensuring employees don’t use outdated projects.
